The Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca natural park is an international importance wetland listed by the Ramsar Convention for hosting on its beaches, marshes and lagoons unique life beings, many of them endangered. Its white pebbles shoreline, between the former lagoon, today turned into marshes, meadows and ponds, and the sea, is the most important of its kind in the Region of Valencia. During this pleasant night tour among reeds and ponds, meadows and bogs, we will discover worthy landscapes of distant times and even other continents; know the different vegetation adaptations to the diverse saline or freshwater environments, the different soil types and the uses that mankind has historically given to this site, such as peat extraction. And we'll have the opportunity to eat our local products snack on the beach, beside the evocative ruins of a former barrack, accompanied by the marine breeze.
