La Marina beach, just south of Chilches in Castellón, is an unspoilt stretch of coast, well suited to anyone looking to switch off in a Mother Nature.

What is La Marina beach in Chilches like?

This beach stretches for around a kilometre and is usually quiet, so there’s plenty of space to relax. Along the shoreline, dunes, reed beds and scrubland blend into the neighbouring area of La Llosa, creating a continuous natural landscape.

Part of the Belcaire European Blue Trail also runs along La Marina beach, making it a good choice for an easy walk with the family while taking in the surroundings. At the same time, a self-guided birdwatching route adds another way to explore the area, making it especially appealing if you’re looking for nature, wildlife and a slower pace, away from the crowds.
