The Hondarribia - Peñíscola Guitar Festival is dedicated to the classical instrument, both soloist and chamber music. Although there is also room for other styles such as flamenco, jazz or Latin music.

It is directed by the prestigious guitarist Carles Pons and in previous editions teachers from Spain, Japan, the United States, Italy, Germany, Poland, Cuba, Argentina, France, among other nationalities, have participated.

The festival also aims to make visible the twinning, since 1994, with the city of Hondarribia (Basque Country).

* Concerts at 10:30 p.m. in the Gothic Hall of Peñíscola Castle.

* Ticket: 10 euros. Subscription for 4 concerts: 30 euros.

* Advance purchase: Hotel Tío Pepe, Avda. España 32 and on www.carlespons.org.

* On concert days, from 9:30 p.m. at the Castle box office.
