The Peñíscola International Early and Baroque Music Festival reaches its 31st edition with the strength of a fully established project, a must-see event on the festival calendar and recognized as one of the most important for this repertoire in Europe. We celebrate these three decades of an essential festival dedicated to music from before 1800, a fertile and rich period that continues to captivate musicians, ensembles, and audiences alike, allowing us to create a high-quality program year after year with national and international figures who bring new visions and perspectives to the Baroque repertoire.
Founded 31 years ago thanks to the support of the Valencian Regional Government, the Peñíscola International Early and Baroque Music Festival has enjoyed the backing of the Castellón Provincial Council and the Peñíscola City Council since its inception, making this town a leading center for the genre in Spain.
