When you arrive in Mayor Square or El Ángel Square, your attention will be drawn to the beautiful porticoes propped up by stone columns. In times past, they provided sufficient shade for merchants to set up their stalls and sell their wares.

El Ángel Fountain sits in Mayor Square or El Ángel Square and is a joy to photograph. It is an historical site that is cited in writings dating all the way back to 1373. The fountain you can see today, however, is the result of modifications made to it in later centuries.
