Come and visit a historic place of worship in the picturesque Benissanó. Plan a getaway to our inland towns and villages and discover their beauty.

Iglesia Parroquial de los Santos Reyes de Benissanó, Santos Reyes Parish Church in Benissanó, is located next to the castle and ancient walls and is one of the most interesting landmarks in the town, which is situated in El Camp de Túria county in inland Valencia.

This place of worship has suffered many changes over the centuries and is located on top of an ancient Arab mosque. The church was first built in the second half of the15th century in a gothic style with a Mudejar coffered ceiling. However, with time the church was gradually destroyed, and now it stands as a neo-gothic style building, having been rebuilt.

Not far from the castle, you can take a peek inside the church and admire its ornate shrines along each aisle. As for the paintings within the church, three of the artworks, preserved from the previous church, stand out: La Adoración de los Magos, Nazareno and Virgen de los Desamparados.

You’re sure to love visiting Santos Reyes Parish Church while on a tour of Benissanó’s fascinating history and heritage.
