The Pious School - Old University in Gandia tells another part of the history of the Borja family. The institution was founded by San Francisco de Borja in the mid-16th century, becoming a hub of knowledge and attracting distinguished students.

Centuries later it became a school, which is still is today, though the ground floor is home to a wonderful municipal exhibition space where you can look at fascinating collections of contemporary art. The Pious School - Old University is an excellent example of the Renaissance style in the Region of Valencia, and it continues to be a place dedicated to teaching and culture to this day.
