This Sunday, January 18, Oliva celebrates the traditional blessing of animals in honour of Saint Anthony.

Programme:

10:00 am: hot chocolate for all attendees in Ganguis Square.

10:00 am: popular breakfast for carters and horse riders on Sant Vicent Street.

11:00 am: solemn mass at the Hermitage of Saint Anthony. Afterwards, distribution of blessed bread.

12:00 pm: Saint Anthony procession, departing from the hermitage and passing through Ermita, Sant Blai, Ganguis Square, Aurora and Sant Vicent Streets, accompanied by tabal and dolçaina music and small animals.

12:15 pm: start of the animal blessing on Sant Vicent Street.
