Visit Bioparc Valencia and enjoy a unique experience that will transport you to other continents from the city.

In Parque de Cabecera, to the north of Jardines del río Turia, you will find Bioparc Valencia, the city’s exceptional animal park. Opened in 2008, Bioparc Valencia has since seen thousands of adults and children pass through its gates to be immersed in exotic ecosystems from all over the world. Here you can gaze at all sorts of animals living amid their natural vegetation and with replicas of caves, rocks and baobabs.

With a total surface area of 100,000m2, Bioparc Valencia is home to over 70 species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Lions, giraffes, pelicans, crocodiles and many more creatures live in multi-species areas that have been designed to look and feel like their original habitats: the African Savannah, equatorial forests, African wetlands and Madagascar island. These recreated habitats will immerse you in the animals' everyday lives so you can observe their behaviour as they go about their daily business. This is an exceptional opportunity to enjoy wildlife in València city.

As you make your way around Bioparc, you’ll find a variety of dining options where you can stop to have a drink or a bite to eat. Throughout the year, the park runs a programme of activities – many of which are for children – that will enrich your experience. You can expect workshops, films, bird shows and more.

Come and visit Bioparc Valencia, a latest-generation zoo whose aim is to conserve, educate and look after the environment. Once you’ve been once, we bet you’ll be back soon.
