Built over and old mosque, the temple was erected as an example of Renaissance architecture. Inside, with great ornamentation, is the painting The Salvation of the souls by baptism attributed to Francisco Ribalta and property of Borrás. Outstanding is the 17th century vault and 18th century ceramic floor.
