La Fira d'Ontinyent, the Ontinyent fair, is one of the oldest celebrations in the Region of Valencia, dating back to 1418, when King Alfonso V the Magnanimous granted the privilege to hold it. Discover it for yourself!

When does the Ontinyent fair take place and how is it celebrated?

Held on the third weekend of November, this historic event in Ontinyent has evolved from its agricultural origins into a major fair organised around four main areas: the funfair rides, the Firauto motor show, the Feria-Comercio trade area, and OntiFira, a lively space dedicated to food and music.

One of the most iconic traditions of the Ontinyent fair is the coca de fira, a local speciality made with sausages and the prized pebrassos, wild mushrooms gathered in autumn. Come and enjoy the flavours and soak up the buzzy atmosphere of this long-standing tradition!
