Real Monasterio de la Asunción o de Santa Clara, La Asunción Royal Monastery or Santa Clara Royal Monastery in Xàtiva is a unique historic monument that was founded in 1325. Originally located outside the town walls, it was damaged by a number of fires and rebuilt inside the centre in 1364. It was later extended between the 16th and 18th centuries with Baroque style elements.

In the present day, the primary spaces of La Asunción Royal Monastery are still standing, namely the church, which has one nave, the refectory, the kitchen and the sacristy.
