We have put together a few plans for Elda in 2 days to help you organize a getaway to this city in the simplest way possible. Elda is so full of surprises, you can't imagine how many wonders you’ll discover! Take a look at this guide and pack your bags for a weekend away.

What to see in Elda: day 1

Elda, in Alicante, has an old town full of iconic buildings. To start getting to know Elda in two days, we invite you to wander through its charming streets, where the buildings range from Art Nouveau to Neoclassicism: the Casa de Pepe Barata, the Casa de la Viuda de Rosas, the Casino Eldense and much more. You'll pass through charming little squares and stop by the Santa Ana Parish Church. If you're into photography, you'll love this route!

Afterwards, we invite you to climb up to Elda Castle. There you will find a well-preserved 12th-century Almohad fortress. If you have the chance, take a guided tour!

Afterwards, you can recharge your batteries by enjoying a meal in Elda. You still have a lot to see! For the second half of the day, we recommend visiting the Elda Archaeological Museum and the Shoe Museum. These are two fascinating places where you can learn about the city’s history and its flourishing shoe industry.

What to do in Elda: day 2

Your plans in Elda for two days aren't over yet, there's still a lot to discover in the surrounding area! First, visit the El Monastil Archaeological Site. Incredibly ancient remains have been found here, from cultures that flourished in Elda over the centuries. Once again, we recommend taking a guided tour!

From there, you can take a walk to the Torreta de Elda, a 14th-century watchtower. You'll love the views from its location, and it has been partially reconstructed so you can get an idea of what this monument originally looked like.

The range of outdoor activities in Elda includes via ferrata routes and a beautiful wetland teeming with life in El Pantano. Of course, you'll also find marked trails you can follow to immerse yourself in a breathtaking valley. Sign up to explore Elda in two days!
