In just one weekend, this destination delivers hidden coves, beautiful walks, incredible beaches and theme parks for all tastes. Here is our itinerary for things to do in Benidorm in 2 days.

Day 1: nature, beaches and the charming old town

Start your adventure by discovering what to see in Benidorm in two days at two of the most special corners of the coastline: Tío Ximo cove and La Almadrava, small and peaceful beaches surrounded by cliffs. Don’t forget your snorkel and goggles! The coves sit at the foot of Serra Gelada Natural Park where you can take a short walk and be amazed by the sea views.

After your walk and swim, we recommend heading back to the centre to sit down at one of the many local restaurants and dig into a delicious rice dish or tapas with a view. In the evening, one of the many things to do in Benidorm is wander around the old town with its narrow streets that breathe the essence of the seaside. Finish the day by seeing the sunset from the famous Balcón del Mediterráneo, one of the most beautiful places to see in Benidorm. The photos you take at sundown will be particularly spectacular.

Day 2: sun, bikes and fun

Start your second day by pedalling along the seafront promenade connecting Poniente and Levante beaches. Exploring Benidorm on two wheels by the sea is a relaxed and fun way to soak up the destination’s lively atmosphere. You’ll find lots of places where you can rent a bike and plenty of cycling lanes.

In the afternoon, if you’re in the mood for adrenaline or are travelling with the family, you can make your way to one of the many great theme parks in Benidorm, namely Mundomar, Aqualandia, Aqua Natura, Terra Natura and Terra Mítica. The most thrilling way to round off your 2 day getaway to Benidorm. If, instead, you’d prefer to spend more time in the sea, how about an excursion to Benidorm Island to do some snorkelling off the coast?
