Would you like to check out the sculptures that made it into the special section of the Fallas festival? Get ready to experience València like never before with our curated city tour.

The Fallas in the festival's Special Section are monumental works of art, towering as high as the surrounding buildings in València and showcasing intricate craftsmanship. To help you make the most of your experience during the festival, we’ve put together a route that takes you to the biggest and the best. Set off in search of giant sculptures as you enjoy the epic Fallas festival.

How many Fallas are there in the 2025 Special Section?

There are nine gigantic sculptures to admire, so put your comfiest pair of shoes on and get ready for a deep dive into the heart of the Fallas festival.

The Special Section Fallas and recommended route

To help you navigate these colourful masterpieces, we've outlined an itinerary of the sculptures that feature in the Special Section.  Each Falla possesses its own distinct character, so it’s worth completing the route to see them all.

Falla Convento Jerusalén-Matemático Marzal

Located near the stunning Art Nouveau building, North Station, the surrounding area boasts a variety of dining options, the perfect excuse to tuck into a local dish after checking out your first Falla.

Falla Plaza del Pilar

This plaza, close to the Silk Museum and MUVIM, is the location of one of the most traditional Fallas. Visit the monument and go for a wander around Velluters neighbourhood.

Falla L’Antiga de Campanar, Monestir de Poblet-Aparicio Albiñana

After crossing the old riverbed, now Turia Gardens, you’ll reach Campanar. Once an independent municipality, this neighbourhood became part of the city of València in the 17th century. In addition to checking out the Falla here, Campanar boasts a pretty historic centre that’s worth exploring.

Falla Na Jordana

Head back to the city’s old town to check out one of the most culturally relevant Fallas, located near the Valencian Institute of Modern Art, IVAM, and L’ETNO - an unmissable ethnological museum.

Falla Exposición-Micer Mascó-Arévalo Baca

Just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Monforte Gardens, you’ll find one of the most recent additions to the Special Section. If you’re a football fan, you’ll be pleased to know it's also located very near Mestella stadium.

Falla Almirante Cadarso-Conde Altea

In this buzzing neighbourhood brimming with things to do and places to eat, you’ll find a special Falla that will impress you. If you’re a bit peckish, we suggest having a pit stop and tucking into some typical pumpkin doughnuts with a side of hot chocolate to recharge the batteries.

Falla Reino de Valencia-Duque de Calabria

Located between the bustling areas of Cánovas and Ruzafa, visiting this Falla signifies nearing the end of your tour, marking you as a true Fallas connoisseur.

Falla Sueca-Literato Azorín

Renowned for its spectacular street lighting during the festival, Ruzafa houses the penultimate Falla on our list. This neighbourhood completely transforms in March, boasting a lively ambience, a great selection of eateries and lots of live music.

Falla Cuba-Literato Azorín-P. Gisbert

To round off the tour of Fallas in the Special Section, visit this towering sculpture which looks down on an impressive lighting display.

Follow this itinerary through the city of València during this UNESCO-listed festival - it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced.
