Day 1 on the La Plana de L'Arc route: Vilafamés 

Start your adventure through La Plana de L'Arc in Vilafamés, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain, and give yourself a full day to explore it properly. Wander along its cobbled streets, stop to admire the imposing Roca Grossa and Vilafamés Castle, then round off the day at the Vicent Aguilera Cerni Museum of Contemporary Art (MACVAC) and with a wine tourism experience. 

Day 2 of your La Plana de L'Arc itinerary: Cabanes and Vilanova d'Alcolea 

Head to Cabanes to see its monumental Roman Arch, which is almost two thousand years old, and explore its medieval old town. You could also take a walk through Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca Natural Park. In the afternoon, make your way to Vilanova d'Alcolea to discover the Hostalot Ildum Roman site and its ancient olive trees. 

Day 3 of your La Plana de L'Arc getaway: Les Coves de Vinromà and La Torre d’en Doménec 

Explore Les Coves de Vinromà, a gateway to the rock art of Barranc de la Valltorta, which is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don’t miss La Morería, where a riverside flora micro-reserve sits alongside Morisco remains, rock paintings, old watermills and natural caves.

Day 4 discovering La Plana de L'Arc: Benlloc and Vall d'Alba 

Spend your final day visiting the wineries of Benlloc and trying its traditional turrón, before seeing the restored archaeological section of the Via Augusta. Then finish the trip in Vall d'Alba, either by exploring the Senieta ethnological site or by following a short, gentle trail such as the Ruta de les Sénies.
