The Millars UCI Gran Fondo World Series in Castellón is an international one-day cycling race and the only event in Spain included in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series circuit. This prestigious race winds its way through spectacular scenery, crossing the Sierra de Espadán and passing through towns such as Castellón de la Plana, L'Alcora, Aín, Fanzara, Lucena del Cid, Eslida and Burriana, among many others. It is a key date in the road cycling calendar, as it represents the only opportunity on Spanish soil to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.

Participation is open to men and women aged 19 and over, whether or not they hold a federation licence. The regulations allow standard road bikes only; mountain, gravel, time trial and electric bikes are not permitted. All riders receive a commemorative jersey and a finisher’s medal upon completing the event, while those placing in the top 25% of their age group are awarded the official UCI medal certifying their qualification for the World Championships.
